Our staff complement has increased from two directors and one employee at inception as a close corporation in 1997 to 61 permanent employees and 72 contractors at present.
Electro-Rail, became a limited-liability company in 2001, it is owned by VJ Investment Trust with 45% and Ell Investment Trust with 45% and Andrč Gouws with 10%.
Our 1 700 m2 factory, at 150 Haring Street off Snapper road, Wadeville Extension 2, Germiston, Gauteng, is situated on land owned by Pro-Tec Property Holdings of which VJ Investment Trust and ELL Investment Trust are owners.
The company was ISO 9001-2008 accredited in December 2008
The main equipment in the factory includes ten CNC lathes and various conventional lathes and milling machines, nine CNC
machining centres, Tig and Mig welding machines, hydraulic presses, drilling machines, and light bending and rolling machines.
